How it works
- Send a request at least 3 days out. Sooner than that, send a rush request.
- We confirm within 24 hours. If we can do it, you get a link to pay. The pickup address and hours are on your receipt.
- Bring the card you paid with and a photo ID. We put a hold on that card for the value of the gear, up to $1,500, until it's back.
- Bring it back on your return day. Late days cost the day rate.
Multi-day rates
1 day is the day rate. 2 or 3 days is 1.5 times. 4 to 7 days is 3 times. A Friday pickup with a Monday return counts as 3 days.
Cancelling
7 or more days before pickup, you get it all back. After that, half.
Where we rent
Pickup is in Grass Valley. Most of our gear goes to Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley, Lake Wildwood, Alta Sierra, Lake of the Pines, Rough and Ready, Chicago Park and North San Juan.
Farther out is fine too: Colfax, Auburn, Truckee, Roseville, Sacramento. You still pick up in Grass Valley, or we deliver for a quoted fee.
Questions
How far ahead do I need to book?
At least 3 days. Sooner than that, send a rush request and we'll tell you if we can make it work.
When will I hear back?
Within 24 hours. If we can do it, you get an email with a link to pay. Nothing is charged until then.
Do you deliver?
Pickup is in Grass Valley. We can deliver, but it's quoted per job and it isn't cheap: vehicle, insurance, driver time and fuel. Tick "Deliver it" on your request.
What if it rains?
We don't rent for outdoor events when rain is in the forecast. The request form checks the forecast for your spot. If rain shows up after you book, we'll call you.
Is there a deposit?
At pickup we put a hold on your card for the value of the gear, up to $1,500. It comes off when everything is back and working.
What comes with the speakers?
Each CDL12P pair comes with its flybar and two speaker poles. XLR cables are free when you rent the X32 or the speakers.
Can someone run sound for us?
Yes. Send an engineer request with the date, the venue and who's playing.
